초록
In this paper, it was suggested that a contactless tram ticketing system is possible using only beacon and builtin functions of smartphones installed in stations and vehicles. In conventional beacon-based ticketing, a virtual gate zone is set and the radio wave intensity is adjusted to determine whether passengers get on or off. However, due to the increase in the number of beacons, the amount of processed data is large, and the error range can be large depending on the sensor or the environment, which limits commercialization. A logic for judging getting on and off according to a location-based beacon scan result rather than a gate-based system was proposed to solve these problems. Only one beacon was installed inside the tram and at the station; the experiment and verification were carried out by installing three platforms on the wireless tram test line in Osong, Chungcheongbuk-do.
