Fatigue Performance Evaluation of Steel Box Girder with Friction and Tension Joints by High

초록

Recently, with the development of various types of bridges, research on how to connect structural members is also being conducted. This study was conducted for the purpose of identifying the performance of a connection method in which friction bolted joints and tension bolted joints are used together in the connection of steel box girder structures. To this end, a steel box girder specimen modeled in scale was fabricated, and a fatigue test was conducted 2 million cycles by 2-point bending load. From the fatigue test, the strain and stress distribution characteristics of the steel bar and rib plate of the steel box girder tension bolted joints and the flange and web of the friction bolted joints were analyzed according to the number of cycles. In addition, the displacement of the specimen was analyzed, and the presence or absence of fatigue damage according to the increase in the number of cycles was identified. From the test results, the steel box girder connection method, in which friction and tension bolted joints were used together did not cause stress change or neutral axis height change until the end of the 2 million cycle fatigue test.
