초록
With the growth of online markets and the increase in contactless purchases during the COVID-19 pandemic, the logistics and delivery market has experienced significant expansion, leading to a corresponding growth in the courier logistics sector. In particular, the volume of daily logistics cargo, such as courier deliveries, has surged in urban areas with concentrated populations. The increase in cargo transport vehicles using roads has led to various social and environmental issues. To address these issues, government departments are currently researching and preparing to establish and operate a ‘rail-based urban cargo transport system.’ To implement such an urban underground logistics system, it is necessary to evaluate the system’s feasibility and economic viability by converting existing road-based logistics transport demand to urban rail. This paper focuses on the development of a meta-model for estimating demand related to the introduction of urban underground logistics systems and presents unique demand estimation items. It is anticipated that this will be useful in accurately estimating the demand suitable for urban underground logistics systems.
