Analysis of Series Arc Signal by Statistical Distribution Method in Railway Station Cable

?In this paper, voltage and current waveforms were measured in order to analysis arc characteristics of low voltage wires used for indoor wiring of railway station. The simulated arc generator was made by UL 1699 and arc was simulated to series arc. And analyzed statistical distributions of the current and voltage waveforms for the source was used to analysis series arc source. Results of analysis on arc waveforms according to several loads tests were used for prevent accidents equipment at railway stations. It was judged that it was able to be applied to the arc diagnosis of low voltage electric wire. potential distribution and anode lifetime provided by the simulation. The unprotected physical miniature experienced widespread corrosion, whereas the protected miniature was covered with calcareous deposit,indicating that the surface was fully protected from corrosion. This study demonstrated that the boundary element can be applicable to the cathodic protection design of rail-canal structure."
