Earth Current Characteristic of Signaling Room Using Building Steel Structure as Common Earth Network

초록

The earth method used in electric railways is divided into individual earth and common earth. Common earth was installed and operated for the first time in Korea following the introduction of the Gyeongbu High Speed Rail, and related regulations suggest various earth network configuration methods and precautions to construct equipotentiality between steel structures along the track. Recently, a signaling room using a building steel structure as an earth network was built on the Suseo High Speed Rail. This paper analyzed the electrical characteristic of the related signaling room through a review of the earth current for the common earth network of this method.
