초록

Liquefied hydrogen has a high energy density, so it is suitable for railways that require a lot of energy and use fuel for a long time. In this paper, the effects of changes in hydrogen inlet flow rate, outlet pressure conditions, and ethylene glycol water (EGW) flow rate in liquefied hydrogen heat exchangers for locomotives on hydrogen outlet temperature, EGW outlet temperature, hydrogen pressure-drop, hydrogen outlet density, hydrogen outlet flow velocity, and EGW freezing possible range were analyzed through computational analysis. Increasing the inlet flow rate of EGW increased the outlet temperature of EGW and hydrogen, and showed a greater effect in reducing the freezing possible range than increasing the outlet temperature of hydrogen. Increasing the hydrogen outlet pressure increased the hydrogen and EGW outlet temperature and had a greater effect on the increase in the hydrogen outlet temperature than the decrease in the freezing possible range.
