초록
Due to the absence of design guidelines for elevated-guideway structures for Light Rail Transit (LRT) in Korea, the elevated-guideway structures for LRT have been conservatively designed in accordance with the domestic railroad bridge design standards and guidelines provided by overseas vehicle manufacturers. For this reason, the Korean government has been establishing a design guideline considering the characteristics of LRT for the economical construction of elevated-guideway structures for LRT. In this paper, the transverse load of vehicles acting on elevated-guideway structures were analyzed through on-site measurement experiments and structural analysis studies when driving rubber-wheeled light rail vehicles.
