북한의 철도기술 지식생산 구조에 관한 탐색적 연구

초록

Based on papers published in ‘Railway Science Research Bulletin’, a journal of the North Korean Railway Research Institute from 2010 to 2019, this paper identifies research trends in North Korea's railway technology field. The purpose of this study is to identify research institutes and to understand connections among them. This study found that North Korea has published a number of papers in the field of track civil engineering (EI0602) and railway vehicle technology (EI0608). North Korean researchers prefer collaboration within a single institute rather than collaboration with other institutions, and there is a strong tendency to publish alone rather than to collaborate with other researchers. The key researchers who have published a number of papers are Yun-cheol Kim, Seong-cheol Cho, In-seok Chae, Gyeong-cheol Dong, etc., and the institutes that conduct many railroad-related research in North Korea are the Railway Automation Research Institute, the Railway Vehicle Research Institute, the Railway Construction Research Institute, the Railway Transportation Institute, and the Railway Technology Information Research Institute. Each of these research institutes has distinct areas of strength.
