한중간 해상운송에 있어서 철도페리선의 도입 가능성에 관한 연구

초록

Rail ferry system is being used as a important transport mode in Baltic and major trade routes. The strategic planning for the adoption and implementation of rail ferry system may well determine successful logistics systems in Korea. This paper examines the current use of rail ferry technology in the transport system of Baltic countries. This research also introduces the rail ferry strategy and methods as a means of achieving smoother and faster traffic system between Korea-China trade routes. For the railroads and shipping company. this information can be used in examining feasibility of rail ferry system between Korea-China shipping routes. The necessity of cost benefit analysis, the problems expected are also discussed in the conclusion.
