스테인레스강 설비의 Lamb파 감쇠 특성 분석 및 영상화 판독 적용 가능성 연구

This study investigated the feasibility of using the Lamb wave phenomena for silo structure, which are important components in the petrochemical industry. A stainless steel (SS303) silo structure was analyzed with regard to the characteristics of attenuation effects. By considering the geometric specification of the silo, a large-curvature cylindrical shape, we verified wave attenuation with respect to the curvature. With these effects, the bent and dented region of the silo was quantitatively detected using an image reconstruction algorithm. Using the S2 Lamb wave mode, a RAPID tomographic process was applied to the defect region with shape function modification. For the 1500 mm 1500 mm detection area, the image reconstruction presented reliable results with good accuracy in terms of the location and scale. This study verified the feasibility of guided wave-based structural health monitoring for stainless steel structures.
