Characteristic Investigation of Design Parameters on the Oil Hydraulic Cylinder Operated Valve System

초록

Oil hydraulic cylinder operated valve has been occasionally adopted in the plant engineering system for relieving surge pressure. In that system, the valve should be operated as swiftly as possible. In this study, the hydraulic system analysis model for oil hydraulic cylinder operated valve was developed using commercial software, AMESim in order to predict operating characteristics for various hydraulic components. Each component which constructs system was modeled. The agreement between simulation and experimental results shows the validity of the simulation model. The parameter sensitivity analysis such as distance between power unit and actuator, cylinder ports size, and nominal flow rate on the servo valve for system design is carried out by the analysis and experimental method.
