분기기 궤간 외측 포인트 가드레일의 열차 주행 특성 및 텅레일 첨단 마모 감소에 미치는 영향

Effects of Switch Point Guard Rail Installed on Gauge Outside of Turnout on Train Running Characteristics and Wear Reduction of Tongue Rail Tip

초록

In this paper, the effects of a switch point guard rail installed on a gauge outside of a turnout on train running characteristics and wear reduction of the tongue rail tip were analyzed. For this, the switch point guard rail installed on the gauge outside of the turnout was installed on-site at turnout no. 22(#12 WT elastic turnout) of Geomam station, located on the Airport Railroad. Then, train running characteristics through test runs and the wear rate of the tongue rail tip were analyzed. As a result of analyzing the train running characteristics in terms of running safety and running behaviour according to the simple method of EN 14363:2016, standards were found to be satisfied in all running conditions; effects on train running characteristics were also found to be negligible. In addition, it was found that the wear rate of the tongue rail tip decreased by an average of 70% over 6 months compared to a turnout without a switch point guard rail installed on the gauge outside of the turnout.
